Chocolate Nut Butter Decadence
I’m going to reveal one of my naughty secrets. It’s a chocolate secret. Sometimes I feel like I need a shot of chocolate. But not chocolate as in a chocolate chip cookie. Not chocolate as in a brownie. And not even chocolate as in a chocolate bar!
I am talking about something more decadent and more intense. I’m talking about scooping warm, melted chocolate right into my mouth, already soft and ready to rock my taste buds.
So that’s exactly what I have, but with a nut buttery twist!
Turkey Sloppy Joes
I have to share this recipe with you. Why? Because my son LIVES for it. He literally gives me the biggest “YES!!!!” when I tell him that we are having it for dinner. And for me, there are few things more satisfying than having my children love the food I cook!

I usually serve this with a side of broccoli, and I actually serve the meat on TOP of the broccoli for myself if I’m in a ‘not eating bread’ mode. (Or I’ll have half a bun with the meat and then have some more on top of the broccoli.)

(By the way, I have put together an incredible info guide on how to get yourself out of an unhealthy eating rut and you better believe that vegetables play a big part! Click here if you would like to receive the guide.)

Last week I was in Whole Foods in the freezer section and there they were – frozen ORGANIC broccoli, cauliflower, peas, spinach, and kale and I thought, how nice would it be to have these on hand for days when I’m flat out of fresh vegetables or am just not in the mood to deal with the cleaning and preparation?
It was at that moment I decided to find out once and for all if frozen veggies were just as nutritious as fresh ones so I pulled out my phone and googled “Are frozen vegetables healthy?”.
Here is what I found: Continue reading
